Mountain of Arts in Brussels

Mountain of Arts is located to the northwest of the Royal Palace. There is a whole complex of attractions called the Mountain of Arts. It is a small park with green sculptures surrounded by numerous museums.

Interesting sites include the recently opened Museum of Magritte, the famous Belgian surrealist, and part of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts. The collection of the Museum of Ancient Art presents works by Flemish artists, works by Pieter Brueghel the Elder and Rubens. In the Museum of Modern Art, in addition to the Belgians, French Post-Impressionists are exhibited.
