Shopping in Brussels

Brussels can be roughly divided into two main shopping areas:

• Rue Neuve, which is north of the main square of Grand Place. Here are concentrated shops for the middle class with very affordable prices. Mexx, H&M, Zara, New Look, Benetton, Woman’s Secret, Diesel are favorite clothing stores for the Belgians. Also, in this area there are two huge shopping centers Inno and City2. If you want to buy everything quickly and in one place, then go here.
• Avenue Louise and Boulevard de Waterloo. Here you can find stores of famous brands - Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger, Hermes, Valentino, Christian Dior, Cartier.
• Royales Saint — Hubert Galleries can be called a Mecca for shopaholics. They are located at Galerie de la Reine 5. It is not only the largest shopping center in Brussels, but also a historical architectural complex. Several galleries are located under one glass roof. Here you can find boutiques of famous brands, souvenirs, perfumes, jewelry, household goods. In the gallery you can visit more than 50 different shops, theater, museums, bookstores, pastry shops, cafes and restaurants.
• The Maasmechelen Village outlet is also worth noting. It is located an hour's drive from Brussels. This shopping destination is very popular with the Belgians. About 100 stores offer well-known brands. The outlet attracts customers with huge discounts and the fact that it is open seven days a week from 10:00 to 18:00. Here you can apply for Tax free.
• MAASMECHELEN VILLAGE LUXURY OUTLET

This is a daily fleamarket we went to in Brussels. Many vendors do not use tables and just lay their items out on blankets on the ground.
