Hi, everybody,
It s my first blog about our company Clewel Travel and our destinations:) For me it s a difficult task to explain shortly
Notre-Dame de Paris from my last trip 2020 before COVID. Not spent right time enough money for restoration lead to this disaster. Oh, God ! Do not try save up money on culture !!!
So I am going just to try to explain in this blog different things:
Recently I learned why the beds were so short in the Middle Ages. Do You know why? French King Francois 1-er new it.
Working in the travel industry for over 30 years I know that the same destination can be loved by travellers or let them without any impression depending on guides and other people from travel industry. Unfortunately it happens quite often Travel Industry like a big factory making same things day by day. They sell brands - well-known sites and destinations with a certain number of well-known products.
Versailles is beautiful and sure worth visiting but Candle Evening at Vaux-le-Vicompte will stay with You forever.
Munich is worth visiting but the visit of Ettal Abbey with beer tasting of historical brewery or walking in the streets of Oberammergau village with Alps panoramic views You can also keep in Your mind for a long time.
Oberammergau village in Bayern
Every country has got its secrets, its charming things, its small places which show You the way of leaving of people of this region and its history.
The real task of traveling is to feel the country: how it sounds, how it smells, how it tastes. While traveling we exchange our impressions with people sharing with us Experiences.
Were people small (short) in the Middle Age? No. Francois 1-er was about 2 meter ! high. They just used to sleep sitting ! That s why short beds.
So our concept is Day and Multi-day trips to France, Germany, Benelux, Scandinavia-Norway Fjords and other countries we know and love, traveling in small groups like 2, 3 or 4 families just up to 7 persons, discovering countries with eyes, ears, nose, hands, listening to each city, landscape, people in the streets, getting impressions and sharing them with friends.
We use our comfortable Mercedes Mini-vans, air-conditioned with adjustable seats.
So, let's travel together !

Whats the difference between this item and Chambord castle where it is a part of the collection? This property is MOBILE and the castle is IMMOBILE.
