Itinerary

07:30 Pickup from your hotel in Paris and departure

07:30 Hotel Pick up and Departure destination Champagne region. The ride takes about 2 hours (140 km) and one part of it goes along the picturesque Champagne landscapes and vineyards. One stop at a rest area will be made.

 

10:00 - 12:00 Champagne Bollinger

10:00 - 12:00 Champagne Bollinger house visit. Existing since 1829 Bollinger is one of the oldest Champagne Houses in France. English Guided Historic Cellars tour made by Bollinger staff gives you great insight into the history and Champagne production. You will see 4,000 oak barrels and its cooperage. Your visit will be followed by a commented tasting of Champagnes. 
We offer you the choice between 2 high Level Options:
1. ADVANCED “Visite Decouverte”: max 12 people, 2 hours, Guided Cellars tour and Champagne tastings of 3 glasses.
2. PREMIUM “Visite Experience”: max 12 people, 2 hours, Guided Cellars tour and Tastings of 5 glasses of Champagne: 2 non-vintage Champagnes and 3 vintage Champagnes.
12:00  Departure to Epernay. It takes 10 minutes (6 km).

12:00 - 14:00 Lunch break in Epernay area. You can spent time of your own or we can make beforehand a restaurant reservation of one of our favorite Michelin restaurants with Menus von EUR 60 to EUR 200 per person.
Épernay is known as the Champagne Capital of France. Located along the Marne river surrounded by the wine hills it is home of many region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must for champagne lovers. Walk the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists.

14:00 Departure to Hautvillers village. It takes 10 minutes.
 

14:10 - 14:40  Hautvillers Abbey's Church and Viewpoint

14:10 - 14:40 Visit the Abbey's Church of Saint-Sindulphe of the Abbey Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers. It is a former Benedictine monastery. The Abbey was founded in 665 and remained active till the French Revolution 1789. Dom Perignon has developed the wine making methods in the region of Champagne. Nowadays there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village. Stop at the View point with best Panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river.
14.40 Departure to Paris (150 km highway). It takes about 2 hours.
