Itinerary

07:30 Departure destination Chablis

07:30  Meeting at Opera Garnier Steps or Pick up from Your hotel if option booked and Departure destination Chablis. There are approx. 190 km to drive on a highway from Paris to Chablis by our air conditioned Mercedes minivan. It takes around 2,5 hours. One stop at a rest area will be made.
 

10.15 - 11.30 Visit of Jean-Marc Brocard Domaine

10:15 - 11:30 Arrival in Chablis area. Visit of Jean-Marc Brocard Domaine surrounded by the vineyards with Cave visit and wine tasting of 5 wines with cheese: Chablis, Chablis 1-er Cru and Chablis Grand Cru. The experienced staff will give You all explanations about the process of wine making in Chablis and point out the differences between Chablis, Chablis 1-er Cru and Chablis Grand Cru.
 

11:30 - 12:30  Wine tasting by Baptiste or Céline et Frédéric Gueguen

11:30 - 12:30 Arrival in Chablis village. Wine tasting by one of the local Chablis wine producers with minimum 5 Chablis wines tasting by local producer" Baptiste or Céline et Frédéric Gueguen: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru and Chablis Grand Cru.
 

12:30 - 14.00  Lunch break and Free time in Chablis

12:30 - 14.00 Lunch break and Free time in Chablis village. You can enjoy the small town or we reserve for You a gastronomic lunch. You pay directly to the Restaurant. 

 

14.00 - 15:00  Visit and Wine tasting at Maison Régnard Chablis

14.00 - 15:00  Guided Visit at Maison Chablis Régnard founded in 1860 with 5 Wine tasting. You will learn in details the wine making process, the details about classification of Chablis wines, visit the Cellars and have a great experience of Chablis wines tasting made by the sommelier of this famous Chablis house: Petit Chablis, Chablis Village, Chablis 1-er Cru, Chablis Chablis 1-er Cru, Chablis Grand Cru.
 

15.00 - 16:00  Visit and Wine tasting in Chablis

15:00 - 16:00  Visit of the fourth Maison in Chablis with 5 Wine tasting and explanations about wines by the local sommelier.

Jean-Marc Brocard and Regnard are closed on Sunday. So we offer different Chablis Domains visits with the same number of Wine Tastings: Domaine Baptiste, Domaine Céline et Frédéric Gueguen, La Chablisienne etc.

TAKE THIS EXCURSION. It will be a lifelong memory.

Alexander, our driver, was exceptionally polite and did his utmost to make us feel comfortable (for example, he made sure we found a bathroom when needed! The locations chosen were ideal and the we splurged on lunch at a great local restaurant that was flooded with the locals (meaning it was a fantastic meal). TAKE THIS EXCURSION. It will be a lifelong memory.

Wonderful Chablis visit

Such an enjoyable day’s experience!
Our guide Alex was wonderful from the beginning to the end of the day - he was informative about the places we visited and the Chablis area in general.
Vineyard and wineries were all worth visiting - gave us great insights and great wines to taste !!
A beautiful lunch in Chablis also.
Lovely day !!!

Very good!

Our driver Roman was exceptional. The first vineyard was absolutely spectacular. The only reason this tour doesn’t get 5 out of 5 is that I would have liked to visit one more vineyard instead of two tastings at the vineyards’ stores. Overall in was a nice day trip from Paris.

A beautiful day in Chablis

Alex was our driver and did a great job taking us to a beautiful vineyard and additional vineyards. He found a nice lunch spot for us and was kind enough to go back for my jacket that I left at a prior Winery while we had another tasting. He allowed time for photos at the Vineyard and also took us to a beautiful spot overlooking Chablis for photos before we returned to Paris. He made our private tour very special but I’m sure going with a small group would also be a great experience.
