This is a Private Experience. The description below is a basic itinerary which can be customised. We pick up all clients from Hotels in Paris or AirBNB accommodation.
07:30 Hotel Pick up and Departure destination Champagne region. There are approx. 140 km to drive on a highway. One stop at a rest area will be made. The ride takes about 2 hours and one part of it goes through picturesque landscapes with vineyards.
10:30 - 12:00 Arrival in Epernay. Guided tour at Moet et Chandon due to the chosen Option.
BASIC option: includes Experience "L"Imperial" up to 19 people, 1,5 hours including the Guided cellars visit and tasting of 2 glasses of Champagne: Moët Impérial, Rosé Impérial.
MOST POPULAR Option: includes Experience "SIGNATURE" up to 15 people, 1,5 hours including the Guided cellars visit and tasting of 2 glasses: Moët Imperial and Moët Vintage.
Moet et Chandon is the world's biggest Champagne producer. Every second one bottle of Moet et Chandon Champagne is being opened worldwide.
15:30 - 17:00 Veuve Clicquot Champagne house visit. Existing since 1772 Veuve Clicquot produces nowadays more that 22 million bottles per year and is one of the biggest producers. Guided tour though the cellars made by Veuve Clicquot staff gives You great insight into the history and Champagne production method.
BASIC option includes "Carte Jaune" experience with Guided Cellars tour and Tastings of 1 glass Brut Carte Jaune.
MOST POPULAR Option includes "Rose Assamblage" Experience with Guided Cellars tour and Tastings of 2 glasses: Rosé and Brut Yellow Label with Cheese and Charcuterie.
17:00 Departure to Reims Cathedral. It takes 5 minutes (2 km).
20:30 Coming back to Paris. Drop off at Your hotel.
Our day trip to the Champagne region was lovely - the transportation was comfortable and spacious and the driver was great. Parts of the day were a little more rushed than I would have liked, but it is what was needed in order to get all the scheduled activities in.
