Eli was a great guide- very personable and flexible. She knew a lot about Monet and why he painted as he did and this was information we wanted to hear. She also gave us suggestions for other things to do/ see in the Paris area. Vadim was an excellent driver and the Mercedes SUV we traveled in was comfortable, clean, and smooth riding. Great experience. If only, though, the weather had cooperated a little more.

Responsive driver when we were ready to leave. Loved the house and gardens and would
recommend visiting. We chose not to use a tour guide but tour on our own.

This is an excellent option if you are traveling with anyone with mobility challenges. We selected the private tour, knowing we would need accommodations for a member of our group and it was the perfect choice. Our guide Mykyta) was kind and patient, proactively finding ways to make the tour more manageable for our friend. His commentary kept the whole group entertained and engaged throughout the tour. When we needed to end the day early due to maxing out mobility capabilities, he and the driver went above and beyond to pick up our friend in an alternative location to our original meeting place. It ended up being the perfect day for us, with everyone enjoying the experience.

Alex was our driver for the day. He was very professional, texting us the evening before to confirm the pickup time and address and communicated with us when he arrived. His driving was excellent and we felt safe with him. He was also very kind and caring going out of his way to always find us and assist us with our bags. He even helped us to negotiate the crowds and locate a nice place for lunch. With his help we very much enjoyed our trip to Giverny.

Had a brief time in Paris and wanted to see Monet's gardens/house. Looked at several tours, but most were large and required us to travel to a designated meeting location. Booked this tour (Clewel travel) through GetYourGuide as they would pick us up at our hotel and it was a private tour for the 2 of us. We paid the extra for a driver AND a personal tour guide. Ilya, our tour guide, was fantastic. He contacted us through WhatsApp and text the day before and the morning of the tour. He and the driver arrived at our hotel a few minutes before 8am and we hit the road in a Mercedes van. We made a brief rest stop before arriving and were dropped off near the entrance. Ilya was very knowledgeable and discussed history on the drive down. He guided us around the grounds in a direction to catch the fewest crowds early. He continued to give history of Monet and the house and grounds throughout the tour. He was there to take pictures of us and, at the end, gave us good recommendations for lunch. I was glad we opted for the 6.5 hour tour. It gave us about 2 hours on our own to walk around town, see Monet's grave, and get lunch at Restaurant Baudy (which had been a hotel famous for artists in Monet's time). Ilya communicated with us near the end of our time and when finished, picked us up and delivered us to our hotel. It was a great tour and I'm very glad we chose this private option. Yes, it is more expensive than the larger bus tours, but the service to our hotel, personal driver and tour guide and the extra time was worth it for me. Would definitely recommend and would use them again.

Our driver Vladim met us at our hotel and navigated construction to meet us with no issue 15 minutes ahead of schedule. The van was comfortable and clean. He was an excellent driver. Our guide Olga was knowledgeable and friendly and kept us moving without rushing us.
The gardens were stunning and worth the entire trip to France.
